Rockstar

Well this is something new I am trying my hands on. Writing about someone whom I really admire as a person and love his music. Well he is one of the most famous and successful Bollywood music composer, singer, producer. We will take a sneak peek at one of the great artist Indian music industry has. One of the most successful Bollywood producer in India right now.
Let me introduce you to Vishal Dadlani I've known for, the powerful source of music and intense blend of rock n roll with the sensitivity of Hindustani classical music. Winning R.D. Burman award for Jhankar Beats and one of the members of Band Pentagram.
He is one of the artist who writes the most beautiful songs & write them very quickly. Not only intelligent but emotional, this man feels so much about music and has passion for music from bottom of his heart.  A person who agrees that he is not technically correct when it comes to music but his belief and thinking about music is it was invented to get laid and which sometimes I also feel is correct. It is kind of peacoking and it is a talent. Started with playing just chords where he caught attention of some intellects like him and asked to join a band which he did and which did fortune to him.
Started working with his father but one day realizing what he needs to and what he likes and then rest all is history. Always willing to work with different artists like  Imogen Heap & Akon which reflects in his work. His philosophy is anyone doing anything, you will face people telling you no no no this wrong you can't do that. But if you listen to them you loose and they win, if you do your thing anyways and show them no they were wrong. Got a big break with song musu musu hasi which is a Nepali dialect which means 'please smile for me but slowly slowly' and which is like one of love songs every romantic person will have it oh their list.
A funny incident which he recalls when they as a team went to a talk show and were asked the most stupid interview question a interviewer can ask you.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Vishal's comment on those were 'I dont know about us, but the music that you hear the mainstream will be totally different from what it is now' and trust me he proved it right. Calling himself a pompous and sticking to it without any fear of what people might think about him.
His music inspiration goes back in the era of Rabindranath Tagore and few other greatest Indian minds we had back then. His latest composition has a very simple meaning and simple words. 'Mind without Fear' is the song which is inspired from 1930' when India was fighting for Independence and all that movement. Everyone at some point of time tangles with destiny, the song also talks about the relation of people and destiny. Explaining it very beautifully where image of these angry people, a whole nation of people charging through this angry sky like lightning, like the dark side of humanity.
Where the mind is without fear & the head is held high
Where knowledge is free, where the world has not broken into fragments by domestic bulls.
Where words come out from depth of truth, into that heaven of freedom my father let my culture awake.
